Special Report: SRW Kanshasai 2005 Ver. 1 (Updating…)

Super Robot Wars Kanshasai 2005
12 February (Sat.) at Studio Coast, Shinkiba

SRW has sold over 10 million copies! In order to commemorate this occasion, Super Robot Wars Kanshasai ~With Thanks for 10 million copies~ was held at Studio Coast, Shinkiba. The program, lasting 2 and a half hours, includes a talk show by guests and a premium live concert, not forgetting the promotion for SRW OG the Animation and the announcement of SRW Alpha 3.

Guests include:
Mizuki Ichirou (veteran anison singer, sung over 1,000 [!!!] anime songs to date)
Kamiya Akira (veteran seiyuu, famous for voice-acting several main characters from Super Robots mecha series)
Midorikawa Hikaru (famous seiyuu, voice-acted as Heero in Gundam Wing & Masaki in Masou Kishin Psybuster etc.)
Okiayu Ryotaro (seiyuu, voice-acted as Rai in SRW etc.)
Kakazu Yumi (seiyuu, voice-acted as Rune in Gaogaigar Final & Dita in Vandread etc.)
JAM Project (famous anison group, sung theme songs for SRW and anime, members include Kageyama Hironobu,
Matsumoto Rica, Endou Masaaki, Kitadani Hiroshi, Okui Masami and Fukuyama Yoshiki.
Mizuki Ichirou was once the leader of the group before he left JAM)
Nakada Takashi (Banpresto President)

There's also three special surprise guests. They are:
Kato Natsuki (actress. Now she's a mascot for SRW with her cosplaying as Lamia in SRW OG2 commercials)
Iijima Mari (veteran singer. Famous for the role of the songstress Rin Minmei in Macross)
Mizutani Yuko (seiyuu, voice-acted as Excellen in SRW etc.)

Tickets for this event were given out through votes, and so only 1,500 lucky souls are allowed to get in.

56 game commercials of SRW ranging from the very first SRW to SRW OG 2 were broadcasted. Exclusive Limited Edition SRW t-shirts were also on sale.

START OF SRW KANSHASAI 2005

The studio was totally full before the event even started. As the event start, JAM Project kicked off with a sihoulette screen appearance and PS2 SRW Alpha 2 Theme "Skill". Mizuki Ichirou also join in the intro with "Mazinger Z". After the songs, Banpresto President Nakada Takashi came on stage to sent regards to the audience
and expressed that Banpresto will continue to work on SRW.

A talkshow commences between Mizuki Ichirou (he's proclaimed himself as a Super Robo fan) and Terada Takanobu, producer of SRW regarding the Alpha series.
