SRW @3: Combination attacks

There's an update on the SRW official website regarding combination attacks. Screenshots of 5 combinations are revealed.

1) GIANT CUTTER Gyakusa Giri (Gaiking & Daiku Maryu)

A new combination attack by the dragon battleship and its "sidekick". This time, Gaiking will use his tremendous power and lift off Daiku Maryu (!!!), then Daiku Maryu will activate its Giant Cutter, and Gaiking will slice the enemy with its new sword.

2) Cho'denji Spin V no Tegiri (Combattler V & Voltes V)

A combination attack of the Cho'denji brothers, it was first seen in SRW Advance, and since then had not been seen on the big screen. Now finally we can feel the heat and soul of their most powerful attacks combined. Combattler V with its Cho'denji Tatsumaki and Voltes V with its Cho'denji Ball immobilises the enemy. Then, Combattler V will start to spin, while Voltes V draw its sword and dash towardds the enemy. Voltes V cut a V-shape on the enemy, then Combattler V finish it with a Cho'denji Spin. They add more animation than the GBA version, and the cut-in scene of their heads is especially memorable.

3) Double Burning Fire (Mazinger Z & Great Mazinger)

One of the first combination attacks in SRW history, it's also the most frequently seen. So they decided to change the the way the animation is carried out. This time both Mazingers will be on two sides (unlike previous versions, they are side by side), and release their Breast Fire and Breast Burn at the same time at the enemy. So each Mazinger will have a separate cut-in scene.

4) EVA Issei Kougeki (EVA-01, EVA-00 & EVA-02)

A new combination attack by the EVA team. This time all three will stand in line and proceed to fire off ALL their long range weapons, whether it's the Pallet Rifle, Position Rifle etc. I was thinking that this attack will be as mundane as Dragonar team's D-Formation attack, but guess I'm wrong. They have new cut-in scenes for the characters, which looks good. An attack that targets the whole team, which further increase its usefulness.

5) Diamond Force Attack (VF-17 Nightmare [Kinryu, Gamurin & Fijika])

A combination attack by the Diamond Force trio. First seen in SRW Destiny, where Macross 7 was first featured. This time it was finally seen on the big screen. In their Fighter modes, all three will release their arsenal of weapons and when it comes to finishing the enemy, they will convert to Battroid mode and blast them to hell. Apparently this attack is also available when all three are piloting their Valkyries or Excaliburs. There's one question, though. In the GBA version, there's different animations whether you execute the attack in Fighter mode, Gerwalk mode or Battroid mode, so whether it's the same in Alpha 3, i don't know. An attack that targets the whole team, which further increase its usefulness.
