My thoughts: This song probably is their most well-known song, even til today. One reason is the popularity of the game, as it ends a great epic and has become a legend in its own franchise. Another reason is that this song is their best selling single, standing at no. 22 in the Oricon charts when it was released, and the amount of publicity given to this song. But these reasons pale in comparison to the main reason that makes this song such a hit in the anison world. The relevance of this song with the game is great, sorta reminding me of Hagane no Messiah, which also was one of the key factors in the rise of JAM Project. Now, this song has pushed JAM Project to a new height.

When I first listen to this song, seriously the music is nothing to be bragged about. Yes, it's very hot-blooded, but it somehow lacks a direction, especially in the chorus part. The beginning part is the one that scores while the chorus pulls it all down. Music-wise, SKILL is way better, VICTORY is a close fight, while Genkai Battle is a bit better. The main problem with the chorus is that it's too noisy in the background, and it's hard to hear the singers clearly. And it's worse when they go into high pitch. That may be its downfall, but luckily in the beginning part, voices are clear as they sing solo one by one.

But what really make this song shines is its brilliant lyrics (Hands down to Kageyama Hironobu). Every time, I hear this song making meaning out of the lyrics, tears run down uncontrollably. It's that emotional. If you played through the game, you will realise that you can connect the lyrics to the plights of the characters around mid-game. Actually, the lyrics apply all the way til the end.

This song has become one of my favourite songs, and has dethroned Hagane no Messiah from the seat of the official SRW song in my mind.
