New NDS games announced for Q3/Q4 2006, (and Q1 2007)

And the list is really interesting to me:

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl

- Not really on my wanted list, but still worth a try for any new mechanics and pokemons. And thinking about how the game will use the touch screen is making me excited.

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin

- Arguably the best action side-scroller which never gets old, this version is in the classic Castlevania genre, not the one with RPG elements. Nevertheless, there's a lot of changes to the enemies (look like the protagonists ended up in Egypt this time, instead of Europe), so I will still play it even if it's not my cup of tea.

Yoshi's Island 2

- the sequel to the immensely fun Yoshi's Island/Super Mario Advance 3,now it allows you to carry three different baby characters, which allows for new strategies. Enemies look the same though…

Final Fantasy III

- the long awaited remake of the classic RPG has finally to reach the shores in September 2006. Picking this game will defintitely be the right choice. And seriously, the graphics look unbelievably good given that it's in NDS.

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

- hehe, more Zelda goodness. This will be the 1st 3-D Zelda on portable consoles, and graphics look fluid enough. This is going to be fun.

Jump Super Stars 2

- haha, this game is going to be the top game on my wanted list, given that JSS has been really fun and enjoyable. This time, which Jump characters will they add to the list, and what new moves will there be? … … I can't wait for it to be out!! Oh, and it supports online battles through WiFi connection.

Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Justice for All

- finally, the sequel to Phoenix Wright (Gyakuten Saiban) has been announced, and has been confirmed to be on the DS. It is relatively unknown whether it will be a remake of Gyakuten Saiban 2, or will it be a totally new game (Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney was a localisation of Gyakuten Saiban 1, with an extra chapter). Another must-buy on my wanted list.

EDIT: From screenshots, i'm pretty sure this is a localisation of Gyakuten Saiban 2.
