SRW OGS Second Promotional Video
This was way overdue, and I just realise I forgot to blog about it, until I was watching it to prepare to write the entry for the third PV. I forgot where I downloaded this video, but whoever wants the original clear video (way better than the youtube version), you are welcome to state your request either through mail or the comment section.
This PV was out when the game was slated to be released in on 25th January 2007, before they decided to postpone it indefinitely.
1) Irm in Grungast (Final Beam) VS Vigaji in Gargaw (Iron Claw)
Cut-in of Grungast doing it’s Final Beam, while the fire-breathing by Gargaw is damn cool, haha
2) Ryuusei in R-1 (Steel Knife) VS Tenzan in Barrelion (Missile)
Nothing much here, probably what’s interesting here is their dialogue.
3) Kusuha in Grungast Type II (Boost Knuckle) VS AI in Fury (??)
4) Tasuku in Giganscudo (Sheath Thunder)
They should make Giganscudo look more impressive…
5) Leona in Guarlion Custom (Sonic Breaker) VS Archibald in R-Ein (Twin Beam Cannon)
There’s a cut-in of Leona and of Guarlion Custom preparing for the attack. Sweet!
6) Masaki in Cybuster (Zephyr Sword)
Impressive speed here by the Elemental God of Wind.
7) Axel in Soulgain (Byakokou) VS Kyosuke in Alteisen Riese (Revolving Bunker)
Soulgain was my favourite machine out of the Advance originals, and this move fully shows the melee capabilities of the machine. But what really shines here is Alteisen Riese. VERY detailed move, where there’s a close simultaneous cut-in for the machine and the pilot (Kyosuke look really cool here), and as the bunker drive into Soulgain, there’s also the cut-in showing the weapon. As the attack finished and Soulgain was left there to explode behind, Alteisen took the time to reload the cartridges for the bunker, absolutely hot-blooded!!
8 ) Sanger in Grungast Type-Zero (Boost Knuckle) VS Wodan in Thrudgelmir (Zankantou Inazuma Juuryoku Otoshi)
Yes, the ultimate attack of Thrudgelmir that was the hot topic in SRW Alpha Gaiden is back in its full form! Sadly it doesn’t give the impact that it has in the past…
The rest are all scenes that have been seen before, except for a short scene of Hiryu Custom, where we hear Lefina and Sean talking. (Lefina’s voice is so sweet!! 
)
And we see Ingram in his R-Gun Rivale. Totally bad-ass, haha.
Aftewhich, there’s Seolla in her Wildfalke, and Kyousuke in Alteisen using his claymores.
Then, a cut-in of Gilliam in his Gespenst RV. However, the scene ends before i get to see what he’s trying to do.
The next scene is probably the most memorable the video has to offer. It’s the fabled “Gespenst Kick” performed by the our dear beloved veteran Kai Kitamura. For that moment, I was really in awe for this old man, haha.
Lamia in the Vysaga with a tornado move (I presume it will be Fuujinsen). I’m not really sure as I didn’t bother with this mecha when I played SRW Advance…
And don’t you just love how Excellen howls when she in the Rein Weissritter, just because her rifle is called the Howling Launcher? Very cute, haha.
Next, SRX uses its Gaun Genocider. Yes, this is surprisingly not available in the OG versions, when it was one of the primary weapons of the Alpha version.
Lastly, we see a cut-in of Ryukou-oh summoning a mountain using amulets (Mountain Pressure), followed by Kusuha.
